Youth: Babies & Preschoolers
Research shows that children who are exposed to books from a young age are more likely to become strong readers and be successful in school. We can help make learning at home fun and easy!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Sign up for our FREE early literacy program that encourages you to read with your child every day. 1,000 books may sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly! If you read just one book with your child every day, you can reach that goal in under three years. When you sign up, you’ll receive a tote bag and a binder to keep track of the books you read. Every time you reach 100 books, your child will receive a fun prize that will help develop early literacy skills. Stop by the library youth services desk to get started.
