Christmas in Centerville and The Library

Drop by the library during Christmas in Centerville!

From 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th, we will have some great events for people of all ages!

We’ll be reading Christmas picture books by the tree and will continue our new tradition of making holiday cards for nursing home residents. Help us make this season merry and bright for our community!

Carolyn LaFever will be setting up on our first floor to do a book signing for her newly published She Never Failed Me: Lucinda Burbank Morton: Indiana’s First Lady of the Civil War, copies of which will be available for purchase during this time.

The Friends of the Library will also be hosting a book sale so everyone can shop for inexpensive Christmas gifts or treats for themselves!

The book sale will be in the library’s basement, accessible from the first floor of the library or the side door on First Street. All other activities will be held on the first floor of the library.

Re-Opening Announcement

The library will officially be re-opening to the public on Monday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m.
Until then, we will remain open for curbside services.
We appreciate the community’s continuous support and understanding as we have undergone these renovations to make the library a better building for everyone to enjoy. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

The Library will be CLOSED starting September 10th for our front door and window replacement. During this time we will be offering curbside pickup only. We will remain closed for the month with a tentative reopen date of October 9th.
