Board Seeks New Director

Because of a retirement. the Centerville-Center Township Public Library in Indiana has an opening for a library director at its beautifully renovated building in historic Centerville. The library is located on the National Road, four miles from Richmond, the county seat. Richmond is home to a symphony, arts, theater, and six colleges and universities. Centerville has excellent schools and a reasonable cost of living with affordable homes and quick access to Indianapolis, Dayton and Cincinnati.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary director who will bring outstanding service and programs to the community. The position requires a librarian certified at LC4 or higher with experience in budgeting, staff and volunteer leadership, facility management, collection development, marketing, historic preservation, and community leadership. The position reports to the library board of directors. Beginning salary range will be $42,000 to $47,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
